Box number
Description
A box number is the unique identification number of a box of smart cards. The box number largely coincides with the stock number of the first card in the box, but the first part is replaced by a combination of four characters. These four characters define the type of box and the type of smart cards in the box.

In the example below, the box number is T379 ABD 0052701.
Composition
The box number is composed of three large parts. The first part can again be divided in two subcomponents, the second and third part refer to the stock number of the first card in the box:
